I am going to go through the colors today and I will give you the meanings of what I think each color represents, I will only do the basic colors; the first one is my Favorite, FAVORITE :) color! :)
Red: red is the color of many important things in the Bible, it represents a covering for our sin, the blood of Christ that was shed on the cross for us. It is also represented as sin in some places, but mostly red is known as the color of Salvation.
Orange: orange is a pretty hard color but I think that God has a code for this one as well. I think that orange represents praise and adoration to the Father, or it could represent fire, also known as the Holy Spirit.
Yellow: yellow represents the gold of heaven, the shining light of the gospel and of Jesus. The light of the world. The Son of God...
Green: green means faith, faith in things that you cannot see but you know beyond a shadow of a doubt that it is there.
Blue: blue represents the law of God. God made the whole sky blue and most of the water in the world is blue, to remind us to obey the law He has given us.
Purple: purple is the royalty of Jesus, in the Bible days only the very rich got to wear this color. Jesus is our King of kings and Lord of lords.
No matter what the color that you may be seeing, God has a lesson in it for you! A special reminder that He made these things for you to enjoy, and to thank Him for and to remember Him by. Without these colors our world would be like seeing black and white, and even those are colors!
Consider them color codes, secret messages from the heavenly realm into ours. A special message of love and reminders. You can think of a lesson for every color if you pray and study about it. I like to think about all the colors that God has made. All of them are special and unique and different, just like us, they make up this world to be beautiful.
We must be like the colors and we must bear a message for Him to the world of black around us.
I want to color this world, don't you? Then join me and we will all be color codes from God!
Help me to be a color code for you Jesus!
ReplyDeleteMmmmh. Interesting.
ReplyDeleteDo God have a color code for war, destruction, disease, violent death of children, suffer, misery in Africa, thousands of victims of tsunami, and so on...?
Do God have a color code for animals seeing in black&white ?
Do God have a color code for color-blind persons ?
Do God have a color code for blind people ?
The fact is that the world and the observer work together : the colors you see are linked to the process of your own vision. This is *not* an absolute vision, this is just *your* vision.
To mistake Absolute for Relative is a common error for people believing things without really analyzing their beliefs.
I respect your beliefs, but I encourage you to dig and find the difference between Truth and Appearence.
Truth is not something written in the books, written by humans and their infinite ego.
Truth is somewhere else.
Truth needs some honest investigation.
Truth needs to leave all your beliefs behind you, whatever they are.
The more we are invested in something, the more difficult it is to admit it was... wrong. You seem to be young, so, you have time to think about it, if it's not too late.
Try to vary your lectures. Try Krishnamurti, this is a good start.
Good luck !
I believe that God wants us to share His love with others, sometimes suffering will happen, sometimes people won't be able to see, and things don't always turn out right. God has a message for each of the groups you described, a message of love, not of colors. You and I can see colors, so we can explain the colors to the blind and try to get them to understand. The blog isn't about how we should see colors, it's about how to share what we know, (the love of Christ) with others. Of course there is many people out in the world suffering, which is why we should share the love of God to those people.
DeleteTruth, in today's world is hard to find. The Bible is the only source of truth that there is. The Bible is what I believe in, and that is what I base my blogs on, to share His love with those around me. My beliefs are in God and the Bible, and I am only a messenger to what He wants me to say. Truth isn't just out there floating around, it's in the Bible waiting to be found.
I will be praying for you, but thank you for writing the comment. Please don't get me wrong, but it isn't about seeing colors or not, it's about sharing God to others.
