Time Is A Talent....

What...time is a talent??????? What on earth are you talking about? How can time be a talent? I mean, it's not as if I can help where the time goes, or how fast it seems to slip away! And if time is a talent, how can I use it as one?

These are all questions that we will explore today!

Yes time is a talent! We can use the time that God gives us in the day for good or evil. We can be productive in the day and do all that we need to get done, or we can say and do certain things to waste time. How you manage your time is very important. You can get to the point were if you are to idle, Satan will find something for your mind to occupy on! Which is why we always need to be in prayer!

By the way, this isn't me! :)

We will all be required by God to give an account of our time. What we said, did, or thought in the time that He gave us here on earth. Of course we can ask forgiveness for wasted time, but then, I think we should try and not waste anymore time. But, you say, how can I help it, sometimes there is just nothing to do!!! Oh, but there is! You can always spend time with Jesus! It doesn't matter if you already had your special time with Him already, you can go to Him as many times as you want!

It is true that you can not control the physical time, nor can you stop the clocks from turning seconds into minutes and minutes into hours! But you can control what you do in those seconds, minutes, and hours! You can use your time as a talent by giving to Jesus right away in the morning, asking Him to change your plans if it isn't according to His will. And ask Him to let Him be your guide, and not waste precious moments, because once they are gone, you can never, and I mean never get them back again!

It is a pretty scary thing to think about! I mean, we are required to give an account to God, for any wasted time! But if you use your time for His will and do the best of your ability, with His help, you will and can succeed, but never without Him. And that is one of the reasons Paul says to pray without ceasing. We should always have our mind on heavenly things, so that we are never wasting any of our thoughts, or the time that it takes to think them! But like I said before, we should pray and ask forgiveness for having wasted time in the past, and God will surely forgive!

And God's timing is always perfect!!! He is always right on time!

I want to be faithful with my time, don't you?
